Download the app today and learn on the go!

IEEE Computer Society Preferred Plus, Training & Development, and Student members can now access SkillChoice Complete using the Skillsoft mobile app. SkillChoice Complete is the Society’s online learning portal with over 67,000 resources available to you 24×7. Access the 3,000+ courses, 28,000+ books including 15,000+ Books24x7 titles and 36,000+ videos to increase your skillset to advance your career. SkillChoice Complete includes full access to three of Skillsoft’s libraries: SkillChoice IT, SkillChoice Desktop, & SkillChoice Business.

SkillChoice Complete also has course work, practice exams, and mentorship to over 100 IT certifications and has 50 IT Playlists which are a collection of curated books, videos, & courses on current technology areas like CISSP, Python, Scrum, and Hadoop, just to name a few.

SkillChoice Desktop and Skillchoice Mobile vary slightly. The directory of folders normally seen on the main and side navigation is not included in the mobile version. When logging in the first time, we recommend that you set interest areas as prompted. Use app search as the primary way to navigate. Filter your resources by audio books, books, challenge/impact series, courses, summaries, & videos, or set on all content to include them all.

The mobile version allows for most, but not all, of the content. That app does include all books, most of the videos, and courses.

Below are the download instructions that include the specific URL to the IEEE Computer Society online learning portal to gain access.

Step 1: Go to the Apple Store or Google Play on your mobile device and search Skillsoft. Download “Skillsoft Learning App” not the Skillsoft Event app.

Step 2: Once downloaded, open the app. It will prompt you to enter the first part of the portal URL. Type “ieee” and hit “Next”.

Step 3: When promoted enter your Computer Society ID and password. Then click “Log In.”

Step 4: Next select your 3 interest areas. Unfortunately, you cannot bypass this, so please either choose from the initial selection you see on the screen, or click the “View More” button, or use the search bar at the top to find your interest areas.

Note: You can always change interest areas by going into the settings of the app.

Step 5: Once interest areas are selected the app will be ready to use.
